We went to see “A Dolphin Tale” when it came out, before Christmas and my daughter was in love. For her birthday, we went to see the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. The reality was even more touching.

These Dolphins, Panama, Winter, Hope…, aren’t the showy dolphins that perform tricks and astound audiences. These Dolphins are sweet and have been through a rough time. They care for each other and the staff of Clearwater is amazing. I was truly touched by each and every animal I saw and how tenderly they were treated.

I wish there were a hundred places like that, all over the world for all kinds of animals. If you are down near Clearwater, FL, don’t miss going. It truly is one of those life-changing experiences!

I am opposed to legislation in the US Congress that is unnecessary, over-reaching, and ultimately harmful to the fabric of the Internet. Let’s keep fighting for one of the last free frontiers!

Etsy is an amazing website for crafts of all kinds.  This isn’t just a “craft site”.  There are folks who repurpose furniture, design and sell clothes, write personalized stories….it is an amazing site.

Heartsy is a site that promotes items based on user ratings.  They send out a daily email to thousands of subscribers offering special deals.

Artfire is another amazing site that sells homemade and vintage items.

Finally, there’s Deviant Art which is focused on art of all kinds.

These sites can  help you find some unique gifts and give you great ideas for creating your own!
